1. Why do I need Bookkeeping or Finance Admin services?
For the same reason we call a plumber whenever a pipe bursts and floods the house. You’re paying for the skill, experience and units of time it takes for an expert to fix that issue. Our services free up your time, to focus on what you do best while also ensuring accurate and efficient completion of your accounts each month and far less late nights trying to get everything done.
2. Do you have any qualifications?
Yes, we are accredited with the Institute of Public Accountants. Our Founder is a real accountant with a BA Hons Degree in Business Management, a Master's Degree in Professional Accounting and over 9 year’s experience working in Industry.
3. Are you fully insured?
Yes. We hold currency certificates for Public, Indemnity and Cyber Security Insurance.
4. What if I use different bookkeeping software?
That’s fine. There’s not much out there in terms of software we haven't used (or been tortured with). Although once we show you around Xero, we’re pretty sure you’ll see the light!
5. Can you recommend an accountant for my business?
Yes. We know a few accounting practices, so if we don’t have the answer, they will.
6. How do I sign up?
There's a couple of options. If you know exactly what you're after, you can sign up with us through our Store Page. If you're not sure and want more information first, then you can visit our Contact Us Page and send us a message using the form. Once we receive your message, we’ll give you a call, send you a form to complete via email, and after we get that back, we’ll start setting everything up.
7. How do you take my payment?
We take payment by credit card through our Electronic Gateway Provider Square.
8. Can you work at my place of work?
No. We can certainly meet you at your place of work but as our services are cloud based, everything we do is done remotely.
9. Can I trust you with my financial information?
Yes, we ensure that we keep up-to-date with all the latest anti-virus and cyber security protection. Our website is backed up regularly and all your information stored by us is encrypted.
10. Can my Accountant do all my data entry work for me?
If you have a large amount of cash…sure. However, Accountants exist to add value to a business by providing advice and finding solutions to a variety of business issues. Considering how much they charge an hour, it’s not recommended to get them to raise your invoices and enter your credit card receipts. We act as a more cost-effective option to get this done for you and can work with your accountant to manage this process end-to-end and to also help you save money, when they prepare your tax return.
11. How do I convert my website visitors in to potential customers?
That bit is thankfully very simple. You can put in a quote system that enables your visitors to message you to request more details. All Tradescounter websites have this functionality built in, as we think without it, what's the bloody point!
